It’s called the Formula for Change:
D × V × F > R

Let me break it down:

• D = Dissatisfaction (you’re fed up with how things are)

• V = Vision (you know what you want things to look like)

• F = First steps (you’ve got a plan to move forward)

• R = Resistance (the voice that says, “it’s fine, just leave it”)

If D, V, and F together aren’t greater than R… nothing changes.

This concept came from David Gleicher, a consultant who noticed that only clients who truly felt the pain (D), had a clear goal (V), and an action plan (F) actually made changes.
